In this project the GLA team was asked to do a seemingly simple laser scan survey and provide height readings for each floor.
After this survey, we were asked to provide simple sections with outlines of lift shafts, walls and steel structures on site. Our team did another laser scan survey after further demolition works and provided the client with a CAD model of the structure. During this survey, findings showed that there were discrepancies in the new steel design and the actual state of the building.
After a correction of the design our client successfully completed their works on the building.
